FM Resources Corp. announces transfer from NEX to TSX Venture Exchange

VANCOUVER, January 30, 2006 – FM Resources Corp. (the "Company") (TSXV: FMR) is pleased to announce that as a result of the completion of the acquisition of Strikewell Capital Corp., as announced by press release dated January 20, 2006, the Company has met the requirements to be reinstated as a TSX Venture Exchange Tier 2 Issuer. As indicated in the TSX Venture Exchange Bulletin dated January 23, 2006, effective the commencement of trading on January 24, 2006, the Company’s listing was transferred from the NEX to Tier 2 of the TSX Venture Exchange and the trading symbol was changed from FMR.H to FMR.
