FM Resources Corp. announces change of name to Strikewell Energy Corp.

VANCOUVER, August 31, 2006 – FM Resources Corp. (the “Company”) (TSX-V: FMR) is pleased to announce that it has received shareholder and TSX Venture Exchange approval to change its name to Strikewell Energy Corp. There will be no alteration to the Company’s share capital in conjunction with the name change.

The name change will be effective at the commencement of trading on Friday, September 1, 2006. The Company’s shares will trade under the new symbol of SKK.
